Yellow Harvest - Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Guide - IGN (2025)

Yellow Harvest in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is an optional area with a lot to discover, including new pictos and weapons. Yellow Harvest can be accessed in Act I, but we recommend visiting this area after Stone Wave Cliffs.

This guide is a comprehensive breakdown of everything you can find in the Yellow Harvest zone in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Yellow Harvest Location

Yellow Harvest can be accessed upon unlocking Esquie in the main story in Act 1 after Esquie's Nest, as you'll need them to break through the jagged rocks blocking the path northwest of the Gestral Village.

Yellow Harvest Recommended Level

Though you can reach Yellow Harvest in Act 1, we strongly suggest waiting to visit this area until after you've completed Stone Wave Cliffs and entered Act 2, and are around Level 20.

Yellow Harvest Walkthrough

As you enter, you'll arrive in a small section with a Rest Point Flag and a circular path around a stone pillar. On the rock wall nearby (by the blue lamp), you'll find easy-to-miss handholds that you can climb up.

Once at the top, drop down and follow the path past the Gestral (commenting on the giant Nevron in the distance) and go through a tunnel beyond.

On the far side, you'll enter a clearing with multiple Gault enemies. Defeat them and you can receive the Gaulteram weapon for Gustave and Verso.

Climb up the ledge behind the two Gault enemies in the back right corner of the clearing and you'll find a fork in the path.

Take the left sloping path by grappling up (left arrow in the image above) and you can head left or right at the top of the slope. Heading left will lead down a slope back towards the beginning of the area, where you'll find another Gault enemy and a Colour of Lumina when you drop off the ledge to the lower platform.

Retrace your steps up the grapple point and then take the right path to find some Chroma on the ledge, which you can then drop down and reach the Harvester's Hollow Rest Point Flag.

You'll now arrive in a large clearing with patrolling Jar enemies, again circular in nature with a large pool of water in the middle.

Up a grapple point to your left you'll find the Young Boy who won't speak to you. If you go right, you'll see a slope leading up and to the right of the slope in a small passage you'll find the Death Bomb Pictos.

Now going up the slope, you'll reach an area with lots of blue lamps where you'll find the Expedition 38 Journal (location circled in the image below).

If you continue past the lamps, you'll find a grapple point up high on a floating island which lets you reach Pinabby the Merchant.

Here you can purchase:

• Wavy haircut for Lune
  

• Auto Death Pictos

• Recoat

If you beat the merchant in a fight, you'll also gain access to the Teamwork Pictos.

You won't be able to grapple back, so drop down off the floating island and make your way back to the slope that led to the lit lamps. Now continuing past the slope (rather than going up it) you'll find some Nevron corpses in the grass, surrounding the Expedition 44 Journal (location circled in the image below).

In the perimeter wall nearby (depicted with the arrow in the image above) you'll find a gap to crawl through which leads to a Mime fight.

Defeat the Mime to receive the Braid Haircut for Maelle.

Crawl back through and head towards the slope leading up above the water. Note that if you choose to kill the Jar enemies in the area you'll be able to receive the Potierim weapon for Lune.

Head up the slope leading out into the water and grapple across. Climb up, grapple, and use handholds to follow the path up and after a few more ledges around the corner you'll reach the Yellow Spire Wrecks Rest Point Flag.

Going left from the Yellow Spire Wrecks flag leads you into a cave with a large sap deposit where you'll find the Expedition 59 Journal (location circled in the image below)

Yellow Harvest Boss - Glaise

Now going up the slope to the right of the Yellow Spire Wrecks flag you'll enter a cutscene where you confront the Glaise boss.

Yellow Harvest Optional Boss - Chromatic Orphelin

In the back of the arena you can follow the path to find a portal exit back to the world map. Before doing so though, climb up the white ledges to the right of where you entered the arena and drop off the ledge you find there.

Now deep in a cave, one direction leads to a ledge with some Chroma which you can drop off of back out to the central area, and the other direction leads further into the cave. Go further into the cave to confront the Chromatic Orphelin.

• Kralim weapon for Lune

• 15 Colour of Lumina
• 6 Polished Chroma Catalysts.
  

In a narrow tunnel in this arena you'll also find another ledge you can drop off of that has some Chroma to collect. You can now exit the zone however you choose, as you've cleared the area!
