What Is Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga About?
The action-adventure film explores the origins of Furiosa, the character played by Charlize Theron in the 2015 movie Mad Max: Fury Road. The movie picks up with a young Furiosa (played by Alyla Browne and then Taylor-Joy) being snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falling into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus (Hemsworth). “Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe (Lachy Hulme),” the synopsis tells us. “While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.”
